Blades Lose to Iceholes 5-3 Blame it on the refs !
The Blades played well in the Nov. 16th game at Bay Harbor last night. They scored the 1st goal early in the 1st period. The Iceholes answered back soon after, making it 1-1. The Blades hammered the goalie, but the Iceholes scored the next goal on a 3 one play. Soon after Brian Smith took it up himself to tie the game.In the 3rd period, the Iceholes again had a breakaway and went ahead 3-2. The Blades kept taking the puck in time after time, but with out success, often shooting wide .Finally, the Blades scored and tied again 3-3. And once again the Iceholes answered back to lead 4-3. With 3 minutes left in the 3rd, the Blades pulled the goalie Richard to go with 6 men to score. With 1 minute left, the Blades scored ., only to have the goal called back due to player in the crease. This was the 2nd goal called back for player in the crease. Very odd. The Iceholes came back again to score 5-3 and win the game.
